Yes, same title as the first post in my other blog. But this seems even more fitting. When I read my Bible, I don't get anything out of it unless I write stuff out. Even if I'm able to apply everything I learn to my life, I'm only making a difference in my own life, and the people I minister. But if I share what I'm learning, I can hopefully make a difference in many more lives, and encourage other people to get in and read on their own.
A friend of mine posted a "Scriptural Treasure Hunt" on her facebook, of around 20 passages to read through. I'm working my way through them slowly, taking time to write down what I'm getting out of each part of each passage. So, I'm going to begin to post each part in blog form. I may post more than one a day, since I already have several days written down, but the posts will be short, so it's fine.
I'll probably post the list on here first, so people can hopefully be reading it on their own before they read my thoughts. I'm not a trained minister or anything of the sort. I just write down my thoughts on what I read, and want to share them. Please read the scriptures on your own, and you'll get things out of it that I never would, as I get things out of it that you never would.
